The dinosaurs continue to wreak havoc as Dinovember continues! All of our Dinovember ideas are coming to fruition in graphic ways that result in a lot of laughter and fun.
The munchkin is getting enterprising and has started trying to thwart the dinosaurs. The other night, she locked them in the upstairs bathroom, confidently declaring that the dinosaurs will make a mess in the bathroom. She was not disappointed. They poured themselves a bath and then headed down the stairs.
Since that didn’t work, the Munchkin thought that she would try putting the dinos in a box on the stairs and putting a heavy box on top of it. She even got a stuffed owl to stand guard. She was fairly confident that the dinos would NOT escape this set up. Not only did they escape, forcing owl to hang upside down, they set up mats and created a music class in the living room!
What would those terrible dinosaurs do next??? Well, naturally, they decided to have a movie night. It was popcorn time! (Did this set up lead to a dinosaur being swung in a circle on an elastic band and hitting me in the face? Why yes, yes it did).
The Munchkin really (REALLY) likes it when the dinos get into the food, so the next night the dinosaurs decided to oblige her by continuing the theme. They pulled out her tea set and had a delightful tea party on the coffee table. I fully expected the dog to join in, but he must be getting old, because he doesn’t seem to have noticed.
And in their final act (for now… I’m sure they’ll be back before we’re ready!), the dinosaurs decided to have a bath. Not just any bath, though. The Munchkin has been QUITE insistent on “glow baths” with glowsticks lately, and after she had one, the dinosaurs decided it was their turn.
